This term we are practising a number of traditional Christmas songs ready to perform in December. We have children in the choir from Reception to Year 6 and we are learning to sing songs in parts, harmonies and also including solos.
Rendlesham Primary School Christmas Fair on Tuesday 27th November;
Rendlesham Lights Switch On on Sunday 2nd December at the village square;
We are also hoping to perform at the Day Nursery and at the Care Home.
Science Club Wednesday After School
We do lots of exciting experiments which all use things that are easy to get hold of.
We turn milk into stones, make volcanoes, larva lamps, bath bombs and bouncy balls as well as investigating our breakfast cereal and inside nappies!
Photographs will follow and I have promised to provide links so that you can try these experiments at home.
We made a mess again today- creating volcanoes. This experiment always causes lots of screams of excitement!
Really easy to do at home :-
Best done outside or somewhere that is waterproof!!
Fill a cup 3/4 with warm water. Top up with vinegar ( any type), add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and stand back!
You can add washing up liquid and/ or food colouring for more colour and foam! You can keep this going by adding more bicarbonate and vinegar.
