Lots of science took place during the Spring term this year. EYFS and KS1 focused on Habitats, whilst LKS2 focused on Land and UKS2 learnt about our oceans.
EYFS and KS1 learning included sorting and classifying, the basic needs of habitats, life processes, identifying and naming plants and animals, describing how animals obtain food, using scientific vocabulary and a small animal visit to the school.
LKS2 learning included writing a letter about pollution, an information book on rivers, coasts, rocks and fossils, creating a poster/model of a water cycle and making a raft STEM project.
UKS2 learning included human impact on the ocean, moon, sun and tides, whales and migration, recyling/pollution, global warming and rising sea levels.
