Romans 2018-19

Another year has come to a close and what a class I have had as my first as a teacher! Thank you all for your support this year, hopefully the children have enjoyed their time at school. Unfortunately we say goodbye to our current year 4's, who will have lots of fun in Miss Shipp's Vikings next year. Our current year 3's I'm sure will be fantastic role models to the younger children venturing upstairs into KS2.

Thank you all again and enjoy the 6 weeks holidays!

PE - Haka (Learning the words)

Having learnt some of the basic moves in order for us to perform the Haka, the children began to learn the words. Here is one example from our lesson. We are aiming to learn all of the words so that we can choreograph the moves to the words.

PE - Haka

In PE this half-term, Romans have been learning about the history and tradition of performing the Haka. So far we have rehearsed and recreated the traditional All Blacks version within our classroom. Over the next few weeks we are planning to learn the words and develop our own Haka in small groups.
