We have 3 simple rules ‘Be Ready, Be Respectful and Be Safe’ which can be applied to a variety of situations and are taught and modelled explicitly. 

We have created simple acronyms to help our pupils be ready for learning, be respectful, and talk respectfully (linking to our whole-school focus on oracy). These are on display in every classroom and support us in creating a calm and purposeful learning environment. Visitors regularly comment on the helpfulness and politeness of our pupils.
