Friends Of Rendlesham Primary School
The Friends Of Rendlesham School are an active group of parents, teachers and local volunteers. We run a number of regular fundraising events including Bags2School clothing collections, discos and Summer and Christmas Fairs as well as one-off events, such as a sponsored marathon.
In recent years, F.O.R.S have bought: a polytunnel, wet weather gear for Reception children, two climbing frames, a buddy bench, a playground clock and some hand bells for the school. We also made a contribution towards the running track, which is used by the whole school to do the daily mile.
Every year, F.O.R.S. traditionally provides ice lollies and medals on sports day and leavers hoodies for Year 6. Currently the main target for F.O.R.S. is to provide a seated gazebo for the playground.
We cannot do any of this without our wonderful volunteers, so if you would like to be involved in any way please do get in touch, either via our Facebook group or leave a message with the school office.
The current named committee members are Emma Harrington (Chair), Laura Marks (Vice Chair), Michelle Fairweather (Secretary), Vicky Weller (Treasurer), Heidi Bryanton, Charlie Durrant, Pat Brown and Charlotte Platts.
