JRSO

Welcome to our JRSO page. Junior Road safety officers are a very important part of the primary school as they help raise road safety awareness and promote road safety issues to everyone in the school and the wider community.

Eugene

I applied to become a JRSO because I want to help people to be safe when using the roads. I would like to tell my friends and everyone in the school about being safe. I would be good at answering questions about road safety.

Alexis

I applied to become a JRSO because I love helping people and I want people to be safe so they don't get hurt. I can show the younger children how to cross the road. I can tell people what not to do on the road that is unsafe, such as throwing things into the road.

Ezra

I applied to become a JRSO because I want to help the whole community. I have lots of ideas about how to be safe on the Rendlesham roads.

Jessica

I applied to become a JRSO because I want to help my friends cross the road safely. I want to help them to make sure they are safe in the dark and when riding their bikes.

Our JRSO's have launched a poster competition to promote road safety. This is in conjunction with Suffolk County Council. The top 4 winning designs as judged by our JRSO's have been sent off for regional judging. Suffolk's winning designs will be made into lamp post bollards, which will be installed near their school to share important road safety messages throughout the community.

The 4 winning posters are here! Well done to Alba, Sonny, Isla and Charlotte who are our 'Rendlesham Winners' and thank you to everyone who took part. We look forward to seeing all of your posters around school.
